Earlier this month, Daphne Guinness debuted her second foray into window dressing. Following her appearance in the windows of Barneys NY last year, where she dressed for the Met Gala in Alexander McQueen, Guinness will be featured this month in the windows of French retailer Printemps. Photographer Nick Knight and his SHOWstudio collaborated with Guinness to create a series of virtual images of her using three-dimensional scanning technology.
The images will be displayed in the "Visions Couture" installation and feature Guinness modeling looks by cutting edge designers Paco Rabanne, Gareth Pugh, Rick Owens, Maison Martin Margiela, and Junya Watanabe. Also accompanying the virtual model will be a short film shot by Knight and an interactive component by multimedia artist Danny Brown.
