This year is the 20th anniversary of Montblanc’s prestigious cultural program, Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award. In Miami early this month, Craig Robins (CEO of Dacra and co-founder of Design Miami/) became the latest to receive the prestigious accolade. At a gala on December 1 in the Design District, Pharrell Williams presented Robins with the honor, acknowledging his longstanding and ongoing support of art, design, and culture.

Guests like David Adjaye, Zaha Hadid, Dan and Dean Carten, and Paul Sevigny enjoyed hors d’oeuvres like stone crab topped mac and cheese and a dinner of local yellow tail snapper. Later in the evening, the crowd was entertained by artist Jona Cerwinskie’s performance and the music of French band Yelle.

Other winners this year of the Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award from the 12 participating countries include Yoko Ono (Japan), His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales (United Kingdom), Her Majesty Queen Sofia (Spain), Liao Chang Yong (China), Yoyo Maeght (France), Harald Falckenberg (Germany), Chung King Fai (Hong Kong), Andree Ruth Shammah (Italy), Young Dal Yoon (Korea), Aurelio Lopez Rocha (Mexico), and Valery Gergiev (Russia).
