On Thursday, December 1st, Poltrona Frau Miami and Wallpaper magazine hosted an event presenting the Baccarat Studio, which debuted its latest limited edition lighting and home collections created by acclaimed designers Michele de Lucchi, Philippe Starck, and Jaime Hayan.
Poltrona Frau's newly opened showroom, launched in October 2011, was designed by architect Albert R. Poza with a magical interior fashioned by Giulio Cappellini. On display were items such as Michele de Lucchi's Sfera Collection, a series of elegant bowls in crystal chased with pure 24 karat gold. Philippe Starck's Marie Coquine, a whimsical 12 light Zenith Chandelier crowned by an ivory umbrella with a wooden handle seemed to dazzle viewers, only to be complimented by Jaime Hayan's favored Candy Lights, elegant table lamps in various mediums that have crystal lampshades and Baccarat's signature red crystal dimmer-switches.
As Poltrona Frau Group is now the exclusive dealer of Baccarat lighting products in Miami, guests such as Dario Rinero, Giampiero di Persi, Federico Materazzi, Alejandra & Albert Poza and Greg Coccaro were sure to attend.
