To celebrate the 10th year of Art Basel Miami Beach, an imaginative and exciting event was held at Miami's New World Center, designed by the renowned architect Frank Gehry. Complete with performances, interesting food comprised of alligator steaks and eggs, and an eclectic guest list, this creative event honored art and all its creativity.
Performances were made by the Performa Orchestra of Futurist Noise Intoners, featuring an orchestra of noise machines first used in 1913 as well as the X-Patsys, a musical group that specializes in German cabaret and Patsy Clive covers, comprised of notable talents Barbara Sukowa, Robert Longo, Jon Kessler with Knox Chandler, Anthony Coleman, and Ernie Brooks. A special dance-off was performed by the battleofyestermorrow's with Benny Ninja, Javier Ninja, Rokafella, Beasty, GI Jane, Uko Snowbunny, Lady Beast and MonaLisa.
Guests such as Bruce Weber, Wolfgang & Gelilia Puck, Marc Spiegler, Cecelia Dean, and Rosalie Goldberg attended.
