On Friday night, December 2nd, Whitewall and Grandlife hosted a spectacular event at Le Baron in the Florida Room at the Delano hotel.

Hosted by Whitewall's Michael Klug, artist Michael Benisty, Steven Rojas, and Tommy Saleh

Held at Le Baron space and attended by the "who's who"of the art world: Mr. Brainwash, the moniker of eccentric French filmmaker, Thierry Guetta.

Nick Cave was at GrandLife. He is one of the most celebrated sculptors of the year, due to his simultaneous fall exhibitions at Jack Shainman Gallery and Mary Boone Gallery in Chelsea. Attached are two photos from a series  of his iconic "soundsuits" at the Jack Shainman Gallery booth of ABMB.

Olaf Breuning was there, sitting at the Sailor Jerry table for over an hour. He is one of the most active artists at ABMB. He had a series of photo homages to art history at the Metro Pictures Gallery ("Andy" is pictured below), and he has commissioned a series of accessories for the Swiss apparel company Bally. The attached picture is of Becca from the Bally booth in the VIP Collector's lounge, and a picture of the canvas tote bag they were distributing for free. At the club, he was wearing on of the Bally. Love/Olaf Breuning silk scarves tucked into the neck of his grey t-shirt, like some sort of hipster cravat!

Adrien Brody was also spotted. I was in line at the Visionaire party as he exited, with his hair coiffed. A few hours later, he had the hair hidden under a baseball cap (red or orange) when he rolled into Le Baron.
Artists Waris, Aaron Young, Joel Fitzpatrick, Katia Hakko, Laurence Chandler, Anthony Haden Guest, Maxwell Snow, Michael Benisty were mingling and socializing for most of the night.

Lots of the New York Music artists were also in attendance, James Murphy, Pat Mahoney and Nancy Whang of LCD Sound System, Theophilus London, also Holly Ghost Nick and Alex.
Alex also DJ-ed alongside Mandy Brooks of "2Mandy Djs" and Mike Nouveau.
Stars from the world of design were also present at Le Baron.
Also spotted hanging out all night at the Sailor Jerry table were Theo Richardson and Alex Williams, two of the three designers from Rich Brilliant Willing (RBW). RBW is an internationally renowned design studio based in Manhattan, and is considered one of the most exciting studios currently working in the United States. RBW recently won the 'Best New Designer' editors award at the 2011 International Contemporary Furniture Fair.
Theo and Alex were spotted talking with Antoine Roset, the scion of the Ligne Roset french furniture empire. Antoine is being groomed to lead the modern furniture firm through the 21st century, and he recently collaborated with RBW on the Armory Art fair VIP room decor last March in New York. Maybe they were plotting their next exciting project together.
