The prestigious charity auction ONLY WATCH was held in
Monte Carlo on September 23 gathering an established group of watch

experts, collectors, and manufacturers under the patronage of H.S.H
Prince Albert II of Monaco. Proceeds from the auction were used to

raise funds for the research of the genetic disease, Duchenne

Muscular Dystrophy. Participating companies donated timepieces for
the event including Frédérique Constant who auctioned a gorgeous
family set of four watches carefully crafted for father, mother, son

and daughter. The Mother and Father watches boast 18-carat pink gold

with elegant feminine and masculine finishes and each watch is

engraved with "ONLY WATCH 2011" on the back of their casing. Kept in an
elegant handmade box, the set was expected to bring in around 13-18,000 euro
but successfully drew in 22,000 euro during the auction which buzzed with an abundant amount of bidders live, over the internet, and on phone.
