The 2011 “Game Changers” awards were hosted last night by The
Huffington Post and AOL at the Skylight Soho in New York. The awards
highlighted one hundred of today's masterminds, leaders, and visionaries in politics, media, entertainment, culture, style, green, business and technology, sports, world, food and travel, education and impact, and healthy living. Among the many guests in attendance were editor-in-chief Arianna Huffington, AOL CEO and Chairman Tim Armstrong, Governor Andrew Cuomo, Former Governor Mario Cuomo, Gayle King, Kim Kardashian, Dr. Oz, Nora Ephron, Robert Kennedy Jr., Cheryl Hines, and New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. The New York Governor was honored during the ceremony along with the co-founder of the Women's Cancer Research Fund Kelley Meyer and Kim Kardashian. The Huffington Post along with AOL hosted the event in order to acknowledge all of those who have inspired them this year, from the front-and-center mega celebrity to those working behind-the-scenes, they are all making a difference and influencing culture and community today.
