Dwyane Wade was in China earlier this month for the first time in his career in order to attempt to meet the "One Million RMB Basket Charity Challenge" and to unveil his limited-edition Hublot timepiece: the King Power Dwayne Wade.
This charity challenge dared Wade to score a maximum number of baskets, each one corresponding to a sum of money and on an increasing scale of difficulty. The funds collected from his shots will be donated to the non-profit organization One Foundation on behalf of Hublot and Wade's World Foundation.
The new King Power Dwyane Wade watch from Hublot is a limited-edition piece with only 500 in production. The timepiece features a prominent “3” representing Wade's number on the court as well as the "basketball effect" referring to the stitching on the strap which resembles that of a basketball net.
