On Saturday July 9 MoMA’s PS1 held one of their many summer "Warm Ups," all day concerts celebrating the latest and greatest in electronic and house music. Plus, music-lovers get a chance to visit the contemporary work on view at the museum. The festivals are held every Saturday through July and August in PS1’s newly redesigned courtyard.
For the price of just $10 guests, can spend the day alternating between live music outside and art on the inside, like Ryan Trecartin‘s current must-see exhibition. Four Tet and SBTRKT headlined the Warm Up on the 9th, and upcoming shows feature acts such as Gang Gang Dance and OFWGKTA.
Inside the courtyard food and drinks are served and guests can get close to the performers on stage, or relax on some of courtyard’s fun new structures: a room of mirrors and lounge pools cooling your feet.
