“Rodarte: States of Matter” opened last week at MOCA Pacific Design Center. The exhibition features the designs of Rodarte’s Kate and Laura Mulleavy, both in fashion and film. Curated by Rebecca Morse and designed by Alexandre de Betak, the show is presented in vignettes made up of Spring 2010, Fall 2010, Fall 2008 collections alongside their costume designs for Black Swan (2010).
To celebrate the opening of the exhibition, InStyle and Swarovski (sponsor of the exhibition) hosted a preview and dinner at Mr. Chow on Wednesday, February 23.
