Monopol Magazine launched its iPad issue last week during Art Basel Miami Beach. The Berlin-based magazine was founded in 2004 and its first-ever iPad issue (in English) can now be found for free in Apple’s app store. The launch event was held on the roof terrace of the Townhouse Hotel in Miami Beach. Sam Keller and Michael Ringier were the hosts for the night, in association with The Broken Hearts Club of Berlin. Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres during the early evening hours while perusing the iPad edition featuring special content by Jonathan Meese whose first major solo museum show is now currently on view at MOCA North Miami through February 13, 2011.
