The launch event for RE:FORMSCHOOL, a series of events to raise public awareness about reforming American public education in support of Redu.com, took place on October 8 at the St. Patrick Cathedral school in New York. Over 150 artists, including Shepard Fairey, FAILE, Maya Hayuk, and Swoon presented their work in five themes: Knowledge is Power, Community, Teachers Inspire, Creativity, and Innovation. All artworks are on sale through the Hole Gallery, with a large portion benefiting the Urban Arts Program. Emily Wells performed live for guests like Terence Koh, Cynthia Rowley, Bill Powers, and Marc Ecko.
