Roman Ermakov's live sculpture.
Baibakov art projects held the launch of Visionaire 59 Fairytale on October 4 in Moscow. The event was held at the Dom Spiridonova mansion, where live sculpture by Roman Ermakov stood between furniture chosen by the designer, Katya Bochavar. Guests enjoyed not only the pre- and post-soviet surroundings, but a vocal performance by Oleg Makarov accompanied by the pianist, Peter Aidu.
For its 59th edition, titled Fairytale, Visionaire presents a compilation of children's stories by contemporary artists and photographers in collaboration with writers; including John Baldessari, Karen Kilimnik with Kirsten Dunst, James Franco and the artist Carter, Viktor & Rolf, and Pierre Huyghe. And if that wasn’t entertaining enough, each book incorporated a fun technique, from the glow-in-the-dark book to holography and scratch-n-sniff.
