Los Angeles’s Project Space opened a show of artist and photographer Ari Marcopoulos on September 23. The exhibit titled “Now Is Forever” is in reference to the book of the same name, which is comprised of images that have never been published before. “Now Is Forever” also features the premiere of Marcopoulos’s “Moroso Crew,” a 60-minute 1992 documentary about illegal drag racing in Brooklyn and the Bronx. All this coincides with the release of the Camera Bag, a Marcopoulos and Incase collaboration.

The opening event for “Now Is Forever” was attended by artists and photographers like Aaron Rose, Craig Stecyk, and Neckface as well as Michael Leon, Keith Hufnagel, and Kevin “Spanky” Long. The exhibition is on view through October 15, 2010.
