Last Friday saw the end of New York City’s Fashion Week, and Dom Pérignon honored the event with A Tribute to Andy Warhol on September 17th in the Meatpacking district. The star-studded evening included a private dinner at Villa Pacri followed by an after party (that lasted well into the wee morning hours) of endless Dom Pérignon vintage 2000 champagne at the nightclub Tzigan. Attendees included Baz Luhrmann, Russell Simmons, Swizz Beatz, Nicky Hilton, Courtney Love, Stephanie Pratt, Stuart Parr, Vera Wang, Evan Rachel Wood, Rachel Chandler, Tyson Ritter, Jamison Earnest, Tom Guinness, Genevieve Jones, Evan Lysacek, Kamal Hotchandani, and Richard Pandiscio. A Tribute to Andy Warhol by Dom Pérignon is a series of bottles designed in Warhol’s unique style by the Design Laboratory at Central Saint Martin’s School of Art & Design. As a further tribute to the legendary artist, the event even provided a photo booth that “Warholized” guests’ pictures to look like Warhol portraits.
