Gabriel Orozco’s new show at the Centre Pompidou in Paris has just opened, fitting in nicely between his exhibitions at MoMA earlier this year and later at the Tate in 2011. The Centre Pompidou show, “Terra Cognita,” opened on September 14th with an after party at the Théâtre Du Renard. It was a night of big names and Orozco’s favorite tequila, Casa Dragones, which hosted the bash along with Chantal Crousel and Centre Pompidou President Alain Seban. Bob Pittman, Bertha González Nieves, Marian Goodman, Nicole Miller, Lawrence Weiner, Sam Keller, Orlan, Louise Neri, Michael Huard, Orlan, Rasmus Michau, Rocco de Robien, Thomas Hardy, Brian Lucas, Staffan Ahrenberg, Laurence Perillat and Louise Neri were also in attendance.
