Luxury watchmaker Bell & Ross introduces its new Vintage Collection, a series of watches based on the design of those used by 1940s aviators. The Vintage Collection employs a minimalism that melds mid-twentieth century technological style with Bell & Ross’s devotion to creating functional, reliable watches. Each watch is circular with domed crystal and simple graphics, reminiscent of cockpit instruments. These watches may look like they are from the 1940s, but they are much more comfortable and durable, especially thanks to the sapphire used in the domed crystal.

The Vintage Original and Vintage Heritage lines make up the core of the collection. The Vintage Original watches have a satin-finish, steel case and come with two color options for the dials. The black is more like a cockpit instrument, with white hands to maximize readability and a matte leather strap. The beige is designed to resemble the WWII air force uniforms, and has beige hands, black graphics, and a brown leather strap.

The Vintage Heritage combines both designs of the Vintage Original. This line uses a matte black, anti-reflection finish for the case, beige graphics and hands, and a leather strap that is designed to become glossy with wear, just like real antique watches.
