As many of you may have noticed while rooting for your favorite soccer teams during this year’s world cup, watchmaker Hublot is the official timekeeper. The brand’s official interaction with soccer is relatively new, beginning in 2008 when it forged a sponsorship deal with the football club Manchester United. Since then, Hublot has kept accurate time as the first-ever, luxury watch sponsor of this year’s soccer matches in South Africa. (The Swiss watch manufacturer sophisticated timepieces made recent history with the revolutionary designs of the One Million Dollar Big Bang, All Black Big Bang, and Mag Bang watches.)
In a celebration of the partnership between the watch company and soccer games, Hublot is hosting live screenings of the final four soccer matches beginning July 6th at Cipriani Wall Street’s Club 55 in New York City. When the event begins at 2:30, their invited guests will not only be able to view the soccer games in a private cinema room with Hublotista, themed drinks and hors d’oeuvres, as accoutrements, but they’ll also enjoy an opportunity to view the latest summer Hublot timepieces, including the limited edition watch of the FIFA World Cup.
