Greenwich, Connecticut, known as one of the wealthiest places on the East Coast, was home on May 15th for a glamorous party celebrating Urs Fischer’s solo exhibition, “Oscar the Grouch”.

The event was hosted by Peter Brant and The Brant Foundation Art Study Center, which opened last year. Guests were amazed by the wallpaper work “Abstract Slavery”, across the street from the foundation and that contains a 2-D facsimile of Brant’s family art, objects, and photos.

Artist Jeff Koons along with his wife and children played in Urs Fischer’s scale while collectors Adam Lindemann and Amalia Dayan were impressed by the installation. Also in attendance were Brigid Berlin, Adam Lindemann, Jeanne Greenberg, Marilyn Minter, Lawrence Luhring, and Irving Blum. At the end of the night, the guests were treated with cookies featuring Andy Warhol’s "Marilyn" image.
