On May 14th, Wallpaper Magazine and Iguatemi the famous Brazilian retail center and supporter of the arts, celebrated the launch of Wallpaper’s June edition “Nascida no Brasil”, or, Born in Brazil. It's a special edition that pays a tribute to Brazil, its people, tradition, and culture.

The issue contains a special article on Espresso, a new contemporary and furniture showroom by Carlos Junquiera. Bossa nova, caipirinhas, and great food were key components to the evening.

Brazilian beauties were everywhere, with guests like as Carlos and Fernanda Motta, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ana Beatriz Barros, Georgina Bardolini, and Michelle Nasser. The magazine had three covers: one limited edition designed by reknowned Brazilian artist Vik Muniz, a second one with model Ana Beatriz Barros, and a third with a young boy on top of the Fassano in Rio.
