Eyes turned as Boucheron, Chanel, DiorRomain Jerome, and Hermes revealed their newest timepieces.

What initiated as a partnership between Boucheron and Girard-Perregaux in 2007 finally came to life with the creation of the Ladyhawke Tourbillon. Inspired by the 1985 film “Ladyhawke”, this timepiece made in white gold, has three gold bridges and a falcon crafted in solid gold with its plumage made by precious stones. It has a power reserve of 72 hours, 25 karat rubies and diamonds in yellow, white, and pink tones that decorate the setting of the watch with a Tourbillon movement created by Girard-Perregaux.

At Baselworld, Chanel presented its latest timepiece: the J 12 Retrograde Mysterieuse. A tourbillon with a sapphire upper bridge is one of the key features of this watch. With 44 rubies and 344 components the J 12 has a winding movement that can be adjusted manually and a power reserve of 237 hours.

Romain Jerome, known for its unique watches and sense of humor, created a watch in honor of Hannibal Lecter! 19 rubies and a power reserve of 120 hours, this timepiece has a one-minute tourbillon without ball that bears at 6 o´clock. Its grey dial has moon dust (ofcourse) and its hands are inspired by solar panels of spacecrafts.

At just 15 Limited Edition pieces, Dior’s Christal Tourbillon approaches a revealed movement with a softer eye, incorporating a translucent dial with 12 transparent index encased in an almost effervescent white gold. The Swiss made Tourbillon movement contains 165 components, 19 jewels, and an 80-hour power reserve.

Loyalty and fine craftsmanship are combined when it comes to Hèrmes 8 days Spiral Boule clock. Measuring 88mm and comprising 233 parts, this light feel white gold crystal ball features a 200-hour power reserve. Features like the 18 thousand vibrations, hand engraved numerals and bridges make this unique timepiece one of Hèrmes distinctive icons.
